Babysitters
by Kari-Muffin

Now, when muffin misses her real computer she types in a cruddy little mac program. Type away!

It was just one of those awful days, and of course those awful days always  get worse. For Kipfel the Bishen dragon things were
going to go six miles below sea level. Somehow he had been elected to be a babysitter for the new portal dragons.

Well he wasn't the only one who was elected.  Alucinor was also elected. This was going to be a real trip. Oh, it could have been far
worse for Kip but he just had to lament. Little bouncing kids just weren't a normal Black's thing.

"Kipfel, Alucinor, Please take good care of these little wyrms." Indy said as she stood by the cabin door. It had been very busy with
the Spring Festival, and it had finally ended. Everyone, including Indyana, needed a nice long break from  the hyperactive wyrms.

*Of course!* Alu chirped.

*Whoo.* said Kip.

"Good luck!" Indy smiled as she shut the door. Outside her bondmate was waiting for her with a rather concerned look on his face.

*Will they be all right?*

"Don't worry, Kipfel and Alucinor and the best dragons for the job."

*You know what I mean.* said Pierre.

"...They'll live."

*Indyana!*

"What can the wyrms do to them anyway? Let's just take a short break while we can. You know we might as well meet with the
wyrms bondmates while we still can. They said they were only staying for a very sort while anyway."

Pierre shrugged, *Have it your way.*

Alu looked around the small cabin and then looked back to Kip. *Where are they all?*

*They're probably playing hide and seek.*

*I guess we should play--GAH!* Alu was cut short by a little purple blur tackling him.

*Got you!* it said in a high pitched squeaky voice.

*You sure did... who?*

The little fuzzy blur... "jumped" off of Alu on to the floor. It was in fact a small purple and cream dragon with fur. She practically had
springs attached to her as she bounced involuntary from excitement. *I'm Anastasia! Ana for short. They guys sent me out as a
um... delegate or something like that.* She made a sound that sounded like "Fwee!" and continued, *Can we please play?*

Kipfel's eyes practically popped out of his head. This wyrm had quite a lot of energy for something so small. Before he had any
more time to think about it he felt something next to his leg.

*Hello, Mister. I'm August.* said a little brown wyrm with sunglasses.

*Um... Hello.* Kip was torn between going "awwww!" and "what in the name of Hend is going on here?" In the end he decided to
say neither and just look stunned as two more wyrms crawled out of nowhere.

The one, which looked like it was made of crystal, introduced itself as Khelekelda. The other that looked like stone said nothing. It
just glared at all the dragons in the room.

Kipfel shrugged, this was far nicer than he had expected. He had taken a liking to August, better know as  Augie.

Alu happily watched Ana do summersaults as the Hele balanced on her crystal ball. This was going to be a nice day. Alu could feel
it at the tips of his wings.

CRASH!

*Oh dear....* whispered Alu.

"Hey, Muffin?" inquired a griffin like figure who was looking over someone's shoulder.

"What Quis?" responded a shadowy figure in a kimono and metallic wings. She sat hunched over a very small imac that was on
loan.

"Don't you think this is going a little bit slow paced?"

"Yes. I'm going to fix that. Um...  is everything all right over there Indy...?"

"Fine! Just trying to fix my scanner." The red headed young woman said.

"With a hammer?" asked Quis.

The red head shrugged.

"All we need now is Bunni, Jules, R-chan, and Cricket and we'll have a full set." said Muffin shaking her head.

"And about every other Bishen addict we've converted..." added Quis.

"Yes well, On with the show!"

Thanks to Hele's ball to whole entire bookshelf had come crashing down. Only Indy knows why, but someone had put breakables
there. Glass was scattered across the dusty wooden floor, like a thousands little knives waiting to taste blood.

Kipfel quickly grabbed Ana in his mouth, and Alu nudged Hele to the corner of the room with the other two wyrms. Cleaning up the
little mess would be the easy part since Alu could flutter over to grab the broom, but the hard part was keeping the wyrms away
from the glass. Doubly so for Ana.

Kip set the fuzzy dragon down with a light "flump" and quite clearly told her to stay in one place. This is when he turned to Alu. *Hurry
up and clean that up would you!*

*I'm cleaning, though I'd much rather be on an adventure...*

Trumpets suddenly blared.

Augie hid under the desk in fear as the rest of the dragons stared in confusion at the ceiling.

*Alu.*

*What, Kip?*

*Never say that word again.*

*What word? Adventure?*

Once again the trumpets sounded.

Everyone, with the exception of Ana and Alu, winced.

*Yes. That word.*

Ana bounced about, *I want to go on an--*

Augie squeaked in fear of what was coming.

*--Quest!*

Augie let out a sigh or relief, as did everyone else. Kipfel went back to the task at hand which he had found that there was no more
task to complete. Alu ha, quickly swept up the mess in a corner. But that did leave Kip with one question.

*Why are you standing on your head?*

*I was bored?*

* ... Alu ... *

*Swooshy?*

* .... *

*Fwee!* Kipfel merely watched as Ana tried to stand on her head.  All the other wyrms had decided to play with blocks or sleep. Ana
on the other hand was still filled with lots of energy.

In fact for the next four hours she was literally bouncing off the walls.

China broke, pictures frames shattered, books were torn to shreds, papers were scattered around, CDs were even in the tangle of
trash that had collected on the floor. The only thought that crossed the black's mind was *How did I get involved?*

After battling with mythical creatures, children and much HTML all the wyrms were asleep and the room was spotless. Kipfel now
walked with a limp thanks to a game of pretend. He wouldn't had mind the game as much if he wasn't the evil villain, but somehow
it was all worth it.

Alu yawned, *That was fun! We should baby-sit more often!*

*After having Ana yelling "DIE EVIL!" in a high pitched voice I think I'll skip the next session.*

*You know you liked it.*

Kipfel glared.

*Hey! Maybe next time we can go on an adventure with them!*

The trumpets began.

The wyrms awoke.

*Evil must meet its demise!* yelled Ana as she charged out of the door.

*ALUCINOR!*

*Whoops...*

So ends this tale of Babysitting. Tune in next time for the Quest of the... frozen .... pancake!

 >_> what?! I'm working on an imac listening to Britney Spears! If you expected something better I'm very sorry! It's a one
